Recently had some griefers come in and destroy everything, so a password has become a necessity. Tried to apply one, but the server isn't asking for it upon connection though. Here's what I've tried:

/serverpassword from console, reply in green text saying it's been changed
    "ServerPassword" field in config.json
    /reload in the console
    completely restarting the server

It's not asking for a password at any point. Is there some kind of restriction on the password (minimum characters etc)? Otherwise, the only thing I can think of causing it not to ask is the fact that I'm connecting locally. Help?

From what I know, if the user is in the registration database, even if the server has a password, this able to login on the server. New players without registration on the server can not enter without entering the password.

So if you are logging in with your admin account, I'm pretty sure you will ignore the server password, since your character've already registered.

I do not know if there are additional settings to prohibit it.

Disable logging in via UUID and it will force all users to provide the Server Password on connect.

Thanks Olink. It seems like only pre-registered characters can connect now, though - is there any way around that? Perhaps have them frozen until logged in & registered like in SSC mode (which I am not using presently)?
