A dirty trick it may be, but it's nice and simple. For the time being I think that's preferable to stilling more plug-ins. Thanks for the help yet again.

Can a group have multiple parents?

I ask because it would be nice to set up permission groups and make them parents of the user groups. That way if I add a new mod, i can give various permissions to a permission group and add it to a user group without having to give individual permission nodes to individual groups. Something like this...

    Guests (no parent)
Default (parents = InfiniteChestUser, ZAdminUser, OnlineAnnounceUser)
Admins (parents = InfiniteChestAdmin,ZAdminAdmin, OnlineAnnounceAdmin, RegionTriggerAdmin)
    SuperAdmin *

Would make it easier to expand to more groups later on, especially if you want to set up a team v team oriented world.

    Unfortunately can't.

There was the same feature request as you 3 years ago, but it seemed no developer at that time agreed with that.

Oh, that's a bummer. Hopefully it gets another look because daisy chaining a string of permission nodes and inheritance will get messy... :(
