TShock 4.3.7 PreRelease for Terraria 1.3.0.7

    Welcome to TShock 4.3.7 PreRelease for Terraria 1.3.0.7. This release adds support for Terraria 1.3.0.7. Download now.

    There are a couple issues we have yet to investigate fully:
    • Visual tile artifacts.
    • Out of memory errors.
    If you experience visual artifacts, please report the following additional information in your report:
    1. The number of players on the server.
    2. The world size.
    3. An in depth report if possible, of how to re-create the problem on a stock map.
    4. Whether or not the problem occurs with only specific tilesets or all tilesets.
    If you experience out of memory errors, please provide a memory dump of the server during this state, zip it, and upload it so that we can inspect it. Please provide the same information as above, and, rather than posting the link publically, private message me your process dump files.

    Using Pressure Plates to activate Teleporters is not working properly. It will trigger the particle animation on both Teleporters, but you will stay in the original location unless you hold on jump/fly. Its like its activating the second plate when you hit the first one. The same happens if you are using Pressure Plates attached to Actuators on a wall to act as a hidden door. The door will instantly open and close and you cannot get through.

    Alright, testing my stuff out; I did research on multiple maps.

    It seems that the "Visual Artifact/Gridlock" thing stretches 200 blocks/400' westward.
    On a newly generated map, with the base height about 207 blocks/414', the gridlock spanned down in between the 100-150 range (Surface level).

    Using our older map, the gridlock still spans that 200 block/400' radius westward, but it seems that any building built atop that patch becomes gridlocked. I have yet to test how far upward the gridlock spans.

    Hope this helps.

    Edit: further testing revealed on height, with the gridlocked ground height being 340', the gridlock reached up to 640' before blocks became normalized, which is 150 blocks in height. Hope this helps further, I'm starting to think it's spawn protection related, but I have not tested the theory.

    Looks like somehow while using /godmode the meowmere killed me. Like my own weapon did while fighting the pillars. it happened twice. I was using the star veil and the celestial cuffs for mana.

    Seems cost more CPU than previous version..... Latest development build is also tried. Some players fall to death when entry the map. I also met this issue that no tiles appear. It resumes to normal after relogin one or more times.

    Edit: Prefix of weapons and accessories still get lose sometimes in SSC mode, not all the prefix, just some of them in player's backpack, I can't find out the reason.

    if by "tile artifacts" we mean the incorrectly rendered tiles that rectify themselves when an adjacent tile is updated, then yes, I think I had that as far back as 1.3.0.5
    I have yet to see if it still happens for me with this version
    I'm downloading it now, and should be able to update this post with the results of my testing within the next few hours
    Edit: I still have that problem.

    An in depth report if possible, of how to re-create the problem on a stock map.: well, I generated the map initially with Tshock 4.3.1 pre-release 1, and that's pretty much the extent I can explain. It's not particularly complicated
    Whether or not the problem occurs with only specific tilesets or all tilesets.: not entirely sure what that means? the erroneous rendering seems to affect every tile within a seemingly arbitrary region of the world, and as stated, a given tile will start rendering correctly is an adjacent tile is modified. It's kind of reminiscent of a block update detector in Minecraft.

    We haven't experienced any visual errors or out of memory issues on my server, but it does seem that the Wormhole Potion is suddenly blocked by permissions. I don't know which permission it is, but attempting to use it while not logged in consumes the potion, doesn't move you, and flashes the standard insufficient permissions message. I don't know why this would be intentionally done, but if it is, is there a new permission for this or did it get wrapped up in something else? Also, the Celestial Sigil is still not working (which I only mention because I thought I saw something in the 1306 patch notes suggesting it had been fixed).

    It's absolutely normal. One of the monsters from the Solar Pillar reflects projectiles shot by the player, also doubling the damage.

    Btw. Another update hits the community, thanx for the hard work guys!

    Anyone having issues with map file getting corrupted after loading in tshock? Seems after i load it tshock then standard server or single player my map file is corrupt and minimap is blank is this a known bug?

    In expert mode; defeated wall of flesh for the first time. Use the Demon heart and gained 6th accessory slot.
    Logged off. Came back on later and 6th accessory slot is greyed out.
    SSC enabled.

    Anyone knows why my truffle doents move in my house i have 2big sky bridge and 50 blocks (more) away of crimson or coruption and in my single player it spawn its completly same And 100blocks wide
