    Hello guys,

    I want to ask two questions

    Can I change the AutoSave time for terraria on my Raspi, if yes - how?
    And can I set a AutoSave ingame message, like "World is saving now..."

    I'm using TShock on my Raspberry pi4 4gb.

    If somone has ask this already, can i get the Forum URL?

    thx :rolleyes:

    I'm new here and I use TShock for my first time :)

    For your first question, it depends. Both TShock and vanilla Terraria server are set up to autosave at the start of a new game day (4:30). I haven't tested it, but you should be able to disable it by opening config.json on the "tshock" subfolder and changing the entry
    Code:
    "AutoSave": true,
    to
    Code:
    "AutoSave": false,
    You can also turn off its message by changing the "AnnounceSave" entry to false.
    So far that will get rid of the fixed autosave at 4:30 AM, but you also want to set up a custom saving time while keeping it silent. For that, you'll need to change another set of entries. To enable saving every XX minutes, go to
    Code:
    "BackupInterval": 0,
    and change 0 to your desired interval of minutes between each autosave. As for its messages, check "ShowBackupAutosaveMessages" and make sure it's set to false.

    I haven't tested all of it myself, so I'm not 100% sure it will work as advertised, but give it a try.

    EDIT: Ah, this is important. Make sure to set "SaveWorldOnLastPlayerExit" to false. It's very buggy and if set to true it's known to spam saving even when there are still one or two players around.
